Information we collect
qrserra collects the information needed to provide the service you choose to use. For the free static generator, this may include the QR content you enter while the tool renders your code in the browser. For account-backed features, we may collect account identifiers, email address, authentication provider data, saved QR records, scan or analytics events, support messages, and operational logs.
When billing or paid features are enabled, we may store payment status, plan, credit, invoice, checkout, or ledger information needed to reconcile purchases and support account history. Payment processors may collect payment details under their own policies.
How we use information
We use information to generate QR codes, manage accounts, store dynamic QR destinations, provide dashboard features, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, respond to support requests, process billing, and improve reliability.
We may also use aggregated operational data to understand product health, conversion, retention, scan activity, and feature usage. Aggregated data should not identify a specific person unless needed for support, security, billing, or legal reasons.
QR content and dynamic links
Static QR codes are encoded into the downloaded image. Anyone who receives or scans that image can read the encoded destination or content.
Dynamic QR features, when enabled, may route scans through qrserra so destinations can be edited and analytics can be measured. That means dynamic QR destinations, scan timestamps, referrer data, device/browser signals, and approximate network location may be stored for analytics, abuse prevention, and product operation.
Service providers
We may use infrastructure, authentication, database, email, analytics, payment, hosting, domain, and monitoring providers to operate qrserra. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Examples of provider categories include hosting and deployment, database and authentication, transactional email, billing, DNS/domain management, and error or performance monitoring.
Security
We design the app so private server credentials and service-role keys stay on the server. Public browser variables are limited to values that are safe for visitors to see, such as public app URLs or publishable client keys.
No internet service can guarantee perfect security. If we discover a security issue that affects user data, account access, credits, payments, or content, we will investigate and take reasonable corrective action.
Data retention
We keep account, QR, analytics, billing, support, and audit records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or accounting requirements, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain operational history.
You may request deletion of account data where applicable. Some records may be retained if required for security, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or audit integrity.
Your choices
You can choose not to create an account for basic static QR generation. Account-backed features require account data and may require saved QR records, scan data, billing state, or support history.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information where applicable.
